National Crime Victims Rights Week -April 18-24, 2010
Michelle Corrao, Director of Community Relations for Prevail, has been awarded the "Special Courage Award" by the US Attorney General, Eric Holder. The "Special Courage Award" recognizes extraordinary bravery in the aftermath of a crime or courageous act on behalf of a victim or potential victim.

What's it all about?
The week of April 18 – 24, 2010, is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), which was first designated by President Ronald Reagan in 1981. This annual observance seeks to increase public awareness of, and knowledge among crime victims and survivors about the wide range of rights and services available to people who have been victimized by crime.
Prevail will be hosting two events through a grant from the National Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators.
