Prevail’s 2018 Signature Gala an OUTSTANDING SUCCESS!

Prevail, Inc. is pleased to announce that our 2018 Signature Gala, Presented by Hare Chevrolet was another successful opportunity to engage the community in providing hope and healing for our friends and neighbors who need it!  Thanks to our all of our supporters, this year’s event raised over $200,000 to support victims and prevent future violence in our community.

In addition to our Presenting Sponsor, Hare Chevrolet; the event was sponsored by our Partner Sponsors, St. Vincent Hospital and Scooch; and our Companion Sponsor, The Grainger Foundation; as well as Biddle Memorial Foundation.  The evening began with a cocktail hour and signature drink, the Courage Cuvee, sponsored by Gregor Private Wealth Group and Mr. G’s Liquors.  Sun King Brewery also provided selections from their locally brewed beer list.  Dinner followed, where attendees had an opportunity to purchase a Golden Ticket that provided them with a chance at the Live Auction Item of their choice!  The winner chose an exclusive culinary experience in Tuscany, Italy with all expenses, including airfare, included.  During dinner, attendees enjoyed a program with a presentation from a courageous speaker, Christina Parker-Benton who credits Prevail with restoring her hope.  The program was emceed by John Freed of Waterline Church and included a live auction with auctioneer Mark Volk.  Dessert was an assortment of delicious cupcakes provided by Heavenly Sweets and to top the night off, all enjoyed dancing with The Bishops, sponsored by Wolfie’s Grill!  The Renaissance Hotel North is a lovely setting for this event, which would not happen without an extraordinary Gala Planning Committee who works all year to make it possible!

Prevail would like to thank all of those sponsors who make this event possible, in addition to our media sponsors, The Current and Davant.

Next year, Hare Chevrolet will once again present Prevail’s Signature Event to be held on Saturday, August 17th at the Renaissance Hotel in Carmel. Sponsorship Opportunities are available now! Prevail Receives Grant from Shepherd Insurance and Westfield Insurance Foundation

NEWS RELEASE

Prevail Receives Grant from Shepherd Insurance and Westfield Insurance Foundation

Westfield Legacy of Caring Program Lends a Hand to Communities Across America

June 2018 – Prevail, Inc. received a grant from Shepherd Insurance and Westfield Insurance Foundation to help reach more victims in our community as part  of the Westfield Legacy of Caring program. At Westfield, it’s more than writing insurance policies. Helping friends and neighbors during times of need is at the core of the Westfield Insurance Foundation. Each year, Westfield independent insurance agents are invited to nominate a local nonprofit for the Legacy of Caring program. The program invests in communities and helps impact disaster recovery, family stability or safety, and programs that invest in attracting and developing talent to insurance as a career.

“At Prevail, it is our responsibility to be a good neighbor and do our part to help strengthen the communities we call home,” said Susan Ferguson, Executive Director. “We are proud of our collaboration with Westfield and the collective impact to critically important initiatives that are essential to so many people in our own backyard.”

“Through the support from the Westfield Insurance Foundation and Shepherd Insurance we can increase our efforts toward providing life saving services in our community.” said Ferguson.

This year, the Westfield Insurance Foundation donated more than $500,000 to neighborhoods across the country. Shepherd Insurance is one of 88 agencies in 17 states donating to 95 nonprofits, including Prevail for the Westfield Legacy of Caring grant program. Awarding grants through the program is an extension of the fundamental role that insurance plays every day in stabilizing families, businesses and communities in times of uncertainty. Westfield is proud to work with their independent agents in distributing nearly $1.8 million in the last four years.

“Our agency partners are one of our greatest assets and we appreciate their dedication to their own communities,” said Ed Largent, Westfield President, CEO, board chair and Westfield Insurance Foundation chairman.  “Our agents care and work hard to protect our customers, and the Legacy of Caring grant program helps build brighter futures in their own communities.”
